Turn your audience into owners.
Community Engine is your owned community layer — membership, loyalty, and fan economics that turn followers into members with a real stake. Built on top of the platforms you already use.
No token. No coin. No NFT drops. Ownership mechanics, not speculation — so it works for any brand, crypto-native or not.
For fan bases, consumer brands, communities, and membership organizations.
Discovery happens on the platforms. Community happens in the space you own.
An audience with a group chat isn’t a community.
Followers watch. Members belong. Owners build. Most brands stop at the first one and wonder why nobody stays.
Followers aren’t members
An audience watches. It doesn’t show up, defend you, or bring anyone — because nothing about following you is a position worth protecting.
Your community lives on rented land
The server, the group chat, the comments — owned by someone else, with rules that change and members you can’t contact directly.
Loyalty that leaks
Points nobody redeems, discount codes that train people to wait for discounts, and a rewards program your best customers forgot they joined.
Belonging has to be worth something. So we make it worth something.
Everything you need to run an owned community.
The space, the status ladder, the rewards, the growth loop, and the controls that keep it from being farmed.
A members’ space you own
Gated and branded on your own domain — or running inside WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord where your people already are. Discovery stays on the platforms; community comes home.
Membership tiers & status
Points, badges, levels and recognition your day-ones actually want. Name the tiers whatever your community already calls them — Founding Fan, First 100, Day One.
Rewards that route to your product
Merch, tickets, samples, early access, the invite list. Value that costs you margin instead of cash and keeps the spend inside your own economy.
Missions that turn members into reach
Give people a job — clip this, invite two, review it, show up — and reward what actually landed rather than what got submitted.
Own your member data
The list, the ledger and the contact channel, exportable in full at any time in a format that works somewhere else. No lock-in, no permission needed.
Fraud and compliance, built in
Verification tiers, per-member caps, delayed settlement and a campaign kill-switch. Rewards awarded on published criteria, never random draws. Consent language ships with the build.
A chat app and a points plugin aren’t the same thing.
Compared against each product's standard published features, July 2026. Feature sets change — check current terms. Where a competitor matches, we mark it: this is a comparison, not a sales pitch.
Designed, built, and handed over.
We build it and run it with you, then give you the keys. Day-to-day operations run on an agent — moderation, onboarding, answering questions, surfacing the best contributions — so the layer costs what a real budget can carry.
Design
We map who your members are, what they would actually do for you, and what recognition is worth to them — before anything gets built.
Stand up
The space goes live where your people already are, with tiers, points, roles and the rules that govern them.
Activate
Missions go out. Members clip, invite, review, show up. Every submission is approved by a human before it carries your name anywhere.
Reward
Status lands instantly. Value settles after a holding window, so what you pay for is what actually stuck.
Hand over
Runbooks, training, and a clean transfer of the list, the ledger and the build. Your team runs it; we stay on call.
Anyone with people worth keeping.
Crypto-native or not — the mechanics work the same either way.
Fan bases
The people who show up for an artist, a team, a show. Give them a position, not just a follow.
Consumer & FMCG brands
Loyalty that compounds instead of leaking — and customers who bring you customers.
Communities & societies
Structure, roles and rewards for a group that outgrew its group chat.
Institutions & membership orgs
Alumni, congregations, associations — membership with a real ledger behind it.
Early access — the first cohort is onboarding now. When we have real numbers, we'll publish them. No invented ones.
Frequently asked questions.
Community Engine is Chainfren’s productized solution for building an owned community layer — the members’ space a creator or brand owns, built on top of the platforms where discovery already happens. It covers community architecture, membership and loyalty, fan economics, and a growth loop that turns members into distribution.
No. Community Engine is token-free by design — no coin, no NFT stunts, no hype drops. Removing the token removes the securities question, the speculation, and the wallet onboarding cliff, which is what makes it work for any brand, crypto-native or not. Ownership mechanics, not speculation.
Wherever your people already are — a gated members’ space on your own domain, a channel you own, or the layer running inside WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord. A dedicated app only when the community is large enough to justify the install. It is a layer on top of the platforms, not a migration away from them.
Two things, both written down. You own the member list, the direct channel to every person on it, the exportable data, the community space and its economics, the loyalty ledger, and everything we build. Your members own their identity, their contribution record, their consent, and their earned standing — carried with them rather than held at your discretion.
A loyalty program makes people stay. This is built to make them bring others: missions are scored on outcomes, so a member’s work reaches new people. We measure it against what you currently pay to acquire a customer — and if member-driven acquisition doesn’t beat your paid acquisition, we will tell you and price it as the loyalty layer it turned out to be.
We can build it and hand it over, or build and run it with you. Most day-to-day operations run on an agent — moderation, onboarding, answering questions, surfacing the best contributions, running campaigns — with humans on the judgment calls and the approval gate.
Verification tiers gate reward size, there are caps per member, per mission and per period, rewards settle after a holding window so a referral that churns never pays, and every campaign has a kill-switch that can claw back what hasn’t settled. Nothing carrying your name is distributed without a person approving it.
Both are designed in from the start. Rewards are awarded on published, deterministic criteria — no random draws, because a prize by chance is a lottery in most jurisdictions including Nigeria. And a member list is personal data, which makes you the data controller under NDPR, and GDPR for any EU member; the consent language ships as part of the build.
Start with a free 30-minute call, then a scoped pilot: one cohort, one mission type, one number — what a member-driven signup costs you versus a paid one. From there, the full engine run with you, and eventually a handover to your team. Priced per engagement, never hourly.
